About me

Hola!🌈 I am Noho, painter, illustrator and creative being ✨

I was born on the italian land the 26th of March 1992, and after four years of social science i decided to follow my long time lover, Art, and I started to study Art and Design.

During my three years career as Product and Landscape Design, i allowed myself to dive into mutiple creative medias, from the digital world (AutoCad, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator) to amazing materials, such as wood, plywood, plastic, plexiglass, clay, metal and so on.

After accomplishing my degree, I’ve worked for an Art Gallery in Verona as Art Director Assistant for three years, and that’s where i realized that i did not wanted to be just part of the art world.

I wanted to be the creative part.

I started to self teaching myself how to paint on canvas, using mainly acrylic techniques, while still practising drawing and sketching.

I rented a space in 2018 close to Milan and trasformed it in a few month in a personal atelier/art residency. From 2018 to 2020 i kept on painting and teaching myself new techniques, while also creating pieces from upcicled materials i could find.

During the strict 2020 lockdown in Italy, i realized that i needed to believe more in art, humanity and Love.

On july 2020 i flew to Portugal where a new adventure begun.

On the portuguese land, i started to challenge myself and opening my horizons to new realities.

I decided to opt for oppurtunities that could allow me to keep on developing the knowledge of new art techniques while starting to learn more abot gardening, permaculture and sustainability.

I volunteered on several farms around the country until i moved to Laozi House in Lagoa, where i could unify permaculture, art and spirituality.

I lived in the community for five months, while shedding layers of myself.

Like a Phoenix, i was creating more space to fill with new beautiful treasures.

After my stay, i moved around the Algarvian coast for a while, until i reached Monchique on March 2021.

There, i have been working professionally on two old Quintas, helping restoring, redesigning and beautifing for the summer season ahead.

From mural art to wood work, from refurbishing old furniture to ceiling paint, on the way i approached two different paint techniques: oil paint and watercolour paint.
